| Leicester Academicals FC |  Welcome to the home of Leicester Academicals Football Club. The Accies have played Sunday League football around Leicester since 1968.
This season we urgently need a few extra players. Why not contact us via this site and join us for a training session this Tuesday evening? We are a good club and enjoy our football. We have a get-together every Tuesday evening between 8:30pm and 9:30pm for a bit of a training session, which is ordinarily a good game of football on an all-weather pitch under floodlights. And then we go to the pub. We currently play in the Leicester Alliance League. Our home ground is at the University of Leicester Sports Hall on Manor Road, Oadby where we play on one of the best pitches you'll find in Sunday League football. We play our games on most Sunday mornings and kick-off at 10:30am. The Alliance League has an excellent level of organisation so there is very, very little danger of any game having to take place without a referee. Go on, give us a go. Play a bit of footy...
